INDIANAPOLIS – The Salisbury University volleyball team remained in the regional rankings the fourth straight week, placing 11th in the NCAA's Mid-Atlantic Region.
Finishing the season with a 17-10 overall record and 5-5 in the Capital Athletic Conference, the Sea Gulls earned the No. 3 seed in this year's CAC postseason tournament. Salisbury hosted sixth-seeded St. Mary's on Tuesday, November 5, defeating them in five sets before falling to No. 2 seed Mary Washington in the semifinal round on Thursday, November 7.
Johns Hopkins (29-0) remains atop the Mid-Atlantic region for the fourth straight week while CAC rival Christopher Newport (26-8) jumps into the No. 2 spot. Susquehanna (31-6), Carnegie Melon (22-7), and Juniata (22-8) round out the top five.
