SALISBURY, Md. – The Capital Athletic Conference announced its all-conference honors for women's tennis on Monday and Salisbury University junior Annika Kezman and sophomore Laura Brown were both recognized by the league's coaches.
Kezman earned first-team accolades for her singles play, while she and Brown were named a second-team doubles squad.
In singles play, Kezman posted an 11-4 record overall, with a 3-2 mark in CAC play. In her final 10 matches of the year, the Virginia Beach, Virginia native was 8-2. This marks Kezman's third year being named to the All-CAC first team.
Kezman and Brown paired up at the top doubles spot at the midway point of the season, playing together in nine matches, posting a 6-3 record, with most of the matches coming in CAC play. The pair was 4-2 in CAC matches during the regular season. The honor is the first for Brown, while Kezman picked up first-team doubles honors in the CAC last season.
