    The Salisbury University men's and women's swimming team returned to the water for the final day of Capital Athletic Conference championship races on Sunday at St. Mary's College of Maryland. One conference record was broken while three new school records were set.

    The Salisbury University men's and women's swimming teams continued with day three of the Capital Athletic Conference championships at St. Mary's College of Maryland on Saturday. By the time the final events had finished in the evening, four more school records had been broken.

    The men’s and women’s swimming teams held their final home swim meet of the season against Capital Athletic Conference rival Marymount (Va.) University. The men’s team was victorious, defeating the Saints, 132-69, while the women’s team fell, 133-70.

    The men’s and women’s swimming teams of Salisbury University returned to action on Saturday afternoon when they played host to visiting Capital Athletic Conference rival University of Mary Washington. The men’s team fell to the Eagles 72-133, while the women’s team lost its matchup 47-158.

    The men’s and women’s swimming teams returned to action after a month-long hiatus when they hosted McDaniel College on Saturday afternoon. A late charge by the men’s team helped to secure a tie, 101-101, while the women’s team fell to the Green Terror, 71-129.

    The men’s and women’s swimming teams traveled south to Virginia Wesleyan University on Friday afternoon to take on the Marlins. Both teams collected victories, with the men winning, 118-57, and the women, 108-51.

    The men’s and women’s swimming teams returned home for the first time in over a month on Saturday afternoon and played host to Widener University. However, neither team could capture a victory, as the men fell, 164-96, and the women, 198-64.

    The men's and women's swimming teams traveled to Washington (Md.) College on Wednesday evening and the men's team fell, 142-63, while the women's team was defeated, 138-64.
  • Swim teams each earn first victories at Penn State-Altoona

    The Salisbury men’s and women’s soccer teams traveled to Penn State University-Altoona on Friday afternoon for their first road meet of the season. Each team came away with its first wins of the season, with the men’s team earning a 195-63 victory, and the women’s team coming out on top, 193-59. Both teams combined for 27 first-place finishes from the 28 events that comprised the meet.
  • Swimming earns 13 first-place finishes at Frostburg

    The Salisbury University men's and women's swimming teams finished off their weekend road trip on Saturday afternoon when they traveled to Frostburg State University. The men's team defeated the Bobcats, 172-90, while the women's team fell, 175-87. Both teams combined for 13 first-place finishes a day after sweeping their meets at Penn State University-Altoona.

    The Salisbury University men’s and women’s teams opened conference play on Saturday afternoon when they hosted York College of Pennsylvania. Both home teams were unable to match the pace of their opponents, with the men losing, 171-91 and the women falling, 185-69.

    The Salisbury University men's and women's swimming teams hosted the Catholic University of America to open their seasons on Saturday afternoon. The Sea Gull teams fell in both contests with the men losing, 104-63 and the women falling, 149-55.
  • Swim teams set for strong performances in 2017-2018 season

    The Salisbury men’s and women’s swimming teams are a few days away from their first swim meet of the season, and they’ve already been hard at work preparing for what should be another exciting campaign. Many regular faces have graduated and moved on from last season, while newer faces look to step into leadership roles and represent a men’s and women’s team that placed third and fifth, respectively, in last year’s Capital Athletic Conference Championships.
