INDIANAPOLIS – The National Collegiate Athletic Association released the field for the 2019 NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships and Salisbury University had two athletes among the list of participants as senior Jamie Farley and junior Kyleigh Dumas each will travel to Geneva, Ohio to compete at the championships.
Farley will compete in both the 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash at this year's championships. In the 200-meter, Farley will be seeded 21st overall with a mark of 25.06 seconds, which she posted at the 2019 Capital Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships. In the 400-meter, she earned the 13th seed with a time of 56.46 seconds, which she also posted at the 2019 CAC outdoor championships back in early May. Farley will compete in the preliminaries of the 200-meter dash on Thursday, May 23 at 4:55 p.m. and will then run again on Friday, May 24 in the preliminaries of the 400-meter dash at 3:00 p.m.
Dumas will represent the maroon and gold in the pole vault and is seeded 12th overall with a mark of 12' 5.5", which she set just five days ago at the SWAT Last Chance Meet. Her mark was not only her best of the year but also broke the school record height of 12' 4.5", which she herself had previously set at the 2019 CAC outdoor championships. Dumas will compete on Thursday, May 23 at 12:00 p.m.
The championships will be held at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio and will take place from May 23-25.
