BERLIN – Salisbury University 2016 track & field graduate Luke Campbell continues to turn in solid performances as a professional track & field athlete in Germany as he looks to earn a spot on the German National Team.
Campbell captured a third-place finish in the German National Indoor National Championships as he clocked in at a time of 7.81 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles. The meet and finish conclude a strong indoor showing by Campbell, who is now vying to win his third consecutive 400-meter hurdle championship in Germany and attempt to qualify for the 2019 World Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Doha, Qatar, which will be held from September 27 to October 6, 2019.
Campbell has already won the 2017 and 2018 national title in the 400-meter hurdles at the German National Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
