VIDEO: Men's Soccer vs. Moravian
The Salisbury University men’s soccer team concluded the Elmer Lord Memorial Tournament with a 3-0 victory over Moravian College on Saturday afternoon. The Sea Gulls struck just over five minutes into the game as Matt Hawkins sent a through-ball to Robbie Budd, who finished the pass to give Salisbury an early 1-0 lead. Kevin Eriksen added to the lead eight minutes later, taking a bouncing header from Cameron Ament and burying his shot in the back of the net. The score would remain 2-0 until the 88th minute, when Ament sent a long ball to Stephen White, who beat his defender and sent a low shot past the Moravian keeper to make it 3-0. Salisbury returns to action on Tuesday, September 4 at Sea Gull Soccer Stadium, taking on Neumann University at 4 p.m.
