Men's soccer ranks No. 24 in poll

MINNEAPOLIS – The Salisbury University men's soccer team is ranked No. 24 in the nation in the poll released on Tuesday, receiving 95 points and holding a 6-2 record for the season.

The Sea Gulls are listed No. 11 in the nation in total goals and points with 26 and 72, respectively. The defense for the Gulls has remained outstanding, possessing a 0.60 goals against average, placing them No. 36 in Division III.

Remaining at No. 1 in the poll is Messiah College, receiving 625 points and owning an 8-0 record. The Falcons are tied at No.11 in total points (72) nationally, with Salisbury.

The men face off against Johns Hopkins University on Wednesday at the SU Soccer Complex for their next non-conference tilt. The match is set to begin at 4 p.m.
