Men’s soccer No. 17 in NSCAA poll

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Salisbury University is No. 17 in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) top 25 poll, the organization announced Tuesday.

Salisbury (9-2-3, 4-1-0 CAC) was 1-0-1 last week with a 3-0 win over Wesley College and a 1-1 tie with Richard Stockton College. The Sea Gulls also posted a 1-0 win over Marymount (Va.) University Monday.

The top nine teams remained unchanged in this week's poll. St. Lawrence University (13-0-0), Messiah College (13-0-1) and Christopher Newport University (12-0-1) took the top three spots.

SU is third in the NSCAA South-Atlantic rankings behind CNU and Rutgers University-Camden (13-2-1).

SU is back in action Wednesday at St. Mary's (Md.) College at 3:30 p.m.
