KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its most recent Division III Top 25 Poll, and the Salisbury University team moved up one spot to No. 17 in the nation.
The Gulls jumped one spot by virtue of an unbeaten week, besting Johns Hopkins University, 2-0, Wednesday and playing to a 2-2 draw against The College of New Jersey on Saturday.
The top seven teams in the poll remained unchanged, led by St. Lawrence University as the No. 1 team in the nation.
Salisbury (7-2-2) remained third in the South Atlantic regional rankings, behind only Christopher Newport University and Rutgers University-Camden.
The Sea Gulls will be back in action on Wednesday, when they host Wesley College at the SU Soccer Complex. The game is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m.
