Lambert named All-American

SALISBURY, Md. – It's been months since Salisbury University men's soccer senior Justin Lambert donned a Sea Gull jersey, but the recognitions for an outstanding season and career continue to pour in.

Lambert was recently named a third team All-American for his performance throughout the 2010 season. During his senior campaign the defender registered five assists, but his real value came in what he did to stop opposing offenses from getting on the board; Salisbury posted a 0.52 team goals against average during the 2010 season, which ranked 17th in the nation.

The All-America honor is one of many accolades for Lambert this season. He was named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference first team, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-South Atlantic Region, NSCAA second team All-American and an Eastern College Athletic Conference South All-Star.

For his career, Lambert played in 37 total games and finished with 14 points on three goals and eight assists.
