MINNEAPOLIS – Salisbury University junior Gordon Jeter was a key piece to the men's basketball team making a run to the CAC championship game and the program's seventh NCAA tournament appearance and on Monday he was named to the All-Middle Atlantic Team by

Jeter was a second-team selection, marking just the second Sea Gull to earn the honor since the organization began naming their teams after the 2001-02 season. Travon Vann was named to the second team following the 2012-13 season.

This year, Jeter led the Sea Gulls with 13.6 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per contest. The inside-out threat shot 36 percent from outside, hitting 18-of-50 three-pointers. Jeter's 46 assists were third on the team, while had a team-best 29 blocks on the year.

Jeter took a step forward in the postseason, leading the team in scoring in two of the three playoff games this year.

Jeter was named to the All-CAC first team following a season in which the Sea Gulls went 21-7.
