MINNEAPOLIS – The organization D3football.com released its 2018 All-American honorees on Friday night and the accolades continued to roll in for senior offensive lineman Andrew Houck as he was named a Second Team Offense All-American.
Houck finished the season as the Sea Gulls top offensive lineman helping pave the way for the nation's top rushing attack as the Gulls racked up 3,834 yards on the ground for an average of 348.5 yards per game in 2018.
He was also part of an offensive line that helped 10 runners rush for over 100 yards and four players rush for 300 yards or more. The maroon and gold also accumulated an average of 5.9 yards per rush and 39 total rushing touchdowns, including having two players rush for 10 touchdowns each.
Houck becomes the first offensive lineman and Sea Gull to receive the honor since Riley Cannon was named to the third team offense back in 2016.
