Sea Gulls remain at No. 4 in this week’s poll

MINNEAPOLIS – released its third national top-25 poll of the season, and the Salisbury University baseball team remains at the No. 4 spot in all of Division III with 527 points, the organization announced on Tuesday.

The Sea Gulls, who have started the season with a 2-0 record, have not seen action since February 14, when they defeated Virginia Wesleyan College, 6-5, at the SU Baseball Field.

The top-five has not changed since last week's poll, with the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at the top spot with 612 points and the University of St. Thomas in second with 587 points. The State University of New York at Cortland remains at No. 3 with 560 points, while California Lutheran University is still holding up the No. 5 spot, tallying 499 total points.

Salisbury is set to take on Wesley College on Wednesday in its first Capital Athletic Conference action of the season. The game is set for 3:30 p.m., at the SU Baseball Field.
