Parking for athletics on campus
Salisbury University Sea Gull Athletics fans now have a variety of options for parking when attending games on campus. Due to the limited amount of parking spaces available on Wayne Street, fans are encouraged to park in the brand new Wayne Street Garage.
The parking garage is located at the corner of Wayne and Bateman Streets, adjacent to the athletic fields. There are four levels with 831 available spaces. Parking is free for all visitors on weekends. During the week, visitors will be charged 50 cents an hour, with a maximum charge of $5 per day. When arriving at the parking garage, drive up to the gate control station and press the ticket button. After the ticket has been removed, the gate will lift. Visitors should find an available spot on the first floor of the garage. It is important for visitors to leave the ticket in their cars, to ensure it is not lost or misplaced during the course of the game. The ticket will be needed in order to exit the garage.
When you are ready to exit the garage, approach the pay station to pay for the ticket. One pay station is located at the Wayne Street entrance, while another is near the elevator at the Bateman Street entrance. Tickets must be paid with cash or credit card. The pay station will give clear instructions on how to pay for your ticket. Once the ticket is paid for, visitors must take the validated ticket back to their vehicles. To exit the garage, follow all of the arrows and exit signs towards the Wayne Street exit. When you return to the gate control station, insert the validated ticket into the appropriate slot, and the arm will lift. If assistance is needed, press the silver help button to speak with a dispatcher. Security personnel are available in the parking garage 24 hours a day.
