Stromberg named CAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the second time

YORK, Pa. - Salisbury University junior Kristin Stromberg (Hampstead, Md.) was named the Capital Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 29 for her performance at the Don Cathcart Invitational. This is her second honor as the Athlete of the Week. She was previously awarded for the week of Sept. 8.

She placed 12th overall and finished the course at Winterplace Park in 23:21. Her time helped the Sea Gulls place fourth in the team standings.

Salisbury will be in action again on Oct. 2 at 4 p.m. in the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa.
