Keen Earns CAC Athlete of the Week for Performance at Towson Invitational
YORK, Pa. - Salisbury University sophomore Trevor Keen (Crownsville, Md.) came in fourth overall in the Towson Invitational to earn the CAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week award for Sept. 15, 2009.
Keen took fourth place in the Towson Invitational, primarily a meet consisting of NCAA Division I and II runners, to lead the Sea Gulls to a first-place standing. He covered the 8K course, which was altered and therefore lengthened because of a fallen tree, in 28:57.
This is the second consecutive week a Salisbury runner has earned the CAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week award. The award prior to Keen's was given to senior Travis Boccher (Columbia, Md.).
