Bulger featured in CAC "Introducing" profile

YORK, Pa. - The Capital Athletic Conference has a new "Introducing..." student-athlete profile and Salisbury University track and field athlete Jenn Bulger was chosen to answer 10 questions from the CAC involving issues in the classroom, athletics and in the community. Bulger is the third Sea Gull to be selected this year as SU swimmer Michael Radloff was profiled in December while field hockey standout Kandice Hancock was interviewed back in October.

Bulger is a two-sport athlete at Salisbury and she is a member of both the women's cross country and track and field teams. This past fall, Bulger helped lead the Sea Gulls to their fourth CAC title in the past five years as she finished third overall with a time of 24:12. Her efforts led to a spot on the All-CAC first team. This was the third time in her career that she was selected as an all-conference runner. Bulger was also named CAC Runner of the Week for October 14.

The Verona, N.J., native put together a strong campaign for the Salisbury indoor track team this past winter as well. She was named to the All-Mason-Dixon Conference team after placing second in the high jump (four feet, 11.5 inches) and third in the 400-meter dash (1:02.53) at the Mason-Dixon Indoor Championships on February 22. Bulger is now focused on the outdoor track and field season which began last Saturday at home in the Sea Gull Opener where she won two events (400-meter hurdles and high jump).
