    The Capital Athletic Conference announced its 2016-17 All-Academic Team and Salisbury University student-athletes made up a large number of the record 1,501 named to the team.

  • Stouffer named CAC Female Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year

    The Capital Athletic Conference released the end of the year awards for the conference this week and announced that Salisbury University volleyball senior Katie Stouffer was named the Female Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Stouffer becomes the first Salisbury volleyball player to receive this prestigious award.
  • Stouffer named to the Second Team CoSIDA Academic All-America Team

    The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) released its 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-America Division III Volley Team on Tuesday afternoon. Salisbury senior outside hitter Katie Stouffer received one of the highest honors and student athlete can as she was named Second Team Academic All-America Team by CoSIDA.
  • Stouffer named ECAC Offensive Player of the Year

    The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2016 Division III South Volleyball All-Star Team. Senior outside hitter Katie Stouffer earned recognition from the ECAC as she was named the Offensive Player of the Year. For Stouffer this is her sixth postseason accolade capping off a tremendous senior season and overall career.
  • Stouffer named AVCA Third Team All-America

    LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association released its 36th annual AVCA All-America teams for NCAA Division III women's volleyball on Tuesday afternoon. The awards will be presented Nov. 16 at the NCAA Division III Women's National Championship banquet in Oshkosh, WI, where the 2016 Division III AVCA Player of the Year will be announced.
  • Stouffer named to the AVCA All-Region North Team

    The postseason accolades continue to roll in for senior outside hitter Katie Stouffer. The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its 2016 Division III regional awards on Thursday and recognized Stouffer naming her to the All-Region team for the North Region for the third consecutive year.

    Salisbury University women's volleyball turned in a tough, hard fought, gritty, and exciting match on Thursday evening but were unable to hold off the No. 24 Captains of Christopher Newport University in the Capital Athletic Conference semifinals falling, 3-2. Katie Stouffer turned in one of her top performances of the year totaling 22 kills and broke the all-time career kills record and now sits atop the record books with 1,747.
