Stouffer named to AVCA All-Regional team member

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches' Association announced its 2015 Division III regional awards on Thursday, and Salisbury University junior Katie Stouffer was named to the All-Region team for the North Region.

Stouffer put together another impressive season for the Sea Gulls, leading the team with 538 kills on the season, which ranks second in the Capital Athletic Conference and fifth in the country. She also leads the CAC with 4.98 kills per set and ranks third with a .320 hitting percentage. Her kills per set also ranks third in the nation.

The Frederick, Maryland native also ranks third on the team with 53 total blocks, fifth with 30 service aces, and sixth with 136 digs.

The all-region selection is the third postseason award for Stouffer, who was also recently named a College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District player and an All-CAC first-team member.
