Fourth postseason award tabs Stouffer as AVCA All-America honorable mention

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The postseason awards continue to come in for sophomore Katie Stouffer of the Salisbury University volleyball team, as she was named a 2014 American Volleyball Coaches' Association Division III All-America honorable mention player, the organization announced recently.

Stouffer led the Sea Gulls in 2014 with 431 kills and a 3.72 kills per set average, both of which were No. 1 in the Capital Athletic Conference. She also led the conference in points per set with 4.03 and ranked fourth in hitting percentage with .275 percent.

The Frederick, Maryland native finished the year with 151 digs and 45 total blocks, as well, which both ranked third on the team.

The All-America selection is the fourth postseason award for Stouffer, who was also recently named an AVCA North Region All-Region player, a Capital One Academic All-District player, and an All-CAC first team member.
