Salisbury ranked 6th in region
INDIANAPOLIS - The Salisbury University
volleyball team is now ranked 6th in the Mid-Atlantic region by the
NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Committee.
Salisbury (23-9, 6-1) sports a 21-7 regional record and has won
four of its last eight matches coming after its impressive 12-match
winning streak. The Sea Gulls dominate early in matches as they
have combined to win 75 of 96 games in the first three games. SU
also have won 18 of its 23 wins with a 3-0 sweep.
The Sea Gulls are currently tied for first place in the Capital
Athletic Conference and with a win tonight (Wednesday) against
University of May Washington would keep SU tied for first in the
conference with Gallaudet. The CAC tournament field will be
announced later this week.
