SALISBURY, Md. – With inclement weather expected to hit the Mid-Atlantic Region this weekend, three Salisbury programs have adjusted their schedules for Capital Athletic Conference contests.
The men's and women's tennis teams, scheduled to play two CAC matches over two days this weekend at Penn State University-Harrisburg and York College of Pennsylvania, will now play both on the same day.
All tennis action will take place on Saturday, April 2, with the men playing at York at 1 p.m., and the women at Harrisburg at the same time. The teams will switch locations for the next match, at 4 p.m., with the men at Harrisburg and women at York.
The softball team was also slated for a pair of CAC opponents this weekend, but will play just one. The Sea Gulls will be at Southern Virginia University on Saturday, April 2, for a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday's scheduled doubleheader at Frostburg State University has been postponed until Sunday, April 17.
Salisbury had been scheduled to take on Catholic University of America that day. That doubleheader has not been rescheduled, but the teams are looking for a mutual free day to play the contests.
