Tenaglia named CAC Player of the Week after going 4-0 in conference play

YORK, Pa. – The Capital Athletic Conference announced its weekly award winners on Wednesday and Salisbury University senior Angela Tenaglia was named the Women's Tennis Player of the Week after leading the Sea Gulls to a pair of CAC shutout victories over the weekend.

The Clarksville, Md., native opened the matches against Wesley College and York (Pa.) College with a victory at No. 1 doubles, then added straight-set victories in singles play to help the Sea gulls move to the top of the CAC standings.

Coincidentally, Tenaglia was also named the CAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week exactly one year ago to the day, March 16.

The Sea Gulls will be back in action next week as they travel to Claremont, Calif., for their annual spring break trip on Monday.
