CHESTER, Pa. – The Salisbury University men's and women's swimming teams returned to action on Saturday afternoon against Widener University, with the men falling 172-90 and the women losing 197-65.
Baker earned the first individual victory of the day for the men. His win came in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 55.57 seconds.
Peter Moyer captured a first-place finish in the 400-yard individual medley, posting a time of 4:31.67.
Porter finished second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:09.93 while also recording a second-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle, posting a time of 5:55.61.
McClure was narrowly edged out in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing just .05 seconds back with a time of 26.67 seconds. She also recorded a second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 58.53 seconds.
The Salisbury men's and women's swimming teams return to the pool on Saturday, December 8 for a 1 p.m. meet when they host Virginia Wesleyan University.
