SALISBURY, Md. – The College Swimming Coaches Association of American revealed its Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2015 semester, which not only saw the Salisbury University men's and women's swimming teams earn the honor, but Salisbury's women had one of the highest team GPAs in the nation.

The Scholar All-America Teams are honored for having a team grade-point average of at least 3.0 for the semester with a CSCAA-record 406 programs being recognized with the accolade.

The Salisbury women, with a 3.63 GPA for the spring semester, held the eighth-highest GPA in Division III this past spring, while only four Division I and II teams had a higher GPA, as well. The Salisbury men qualified for the recognition with a 3.05 team GPA.

Spring 2015 marks the first time in more than 30 years of the program that more than 600 teams have earned the honor; nearly 70 percent of all NCAA swimming and diving programs appeared on the list of Scholar All-America Teams.
