NORFOLK, Va. – The Salisbury University women's swimming team earned a postseason accolade from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America, being honored as Team Scholar All-American status, the organization announced.
The CSCAA awards college and university swimming and diving teams who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. SU's women's swimming team maintained a 3.22 in the fall of 2013.
The women concluded the season placing fifth at the Capital Athletic Conference Swimming Championships. Freshman Victoria Radcliffe and sophomore Nicki Schult led the squad this season with 12 and nine first-place finishes, respectively, throughout the season.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America is the oldest professional organization of college coaches in America. The CSCAA is dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
