Luc awarded ECAC Offensive Player of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. – After being named the Capital Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, junior forward Victoria Luc of the Salisbury University women's soccer team was recognized on Thursday as the Eastern College Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

This past week, Luc recorded two goals and an assist, worth a total of five points. Luc scored a goal and notched the assist on Samantha Beck's game-winner that put the Sea Gulls past Stevenson University, 3-2, in overtime last Tuesday.

On Saturday, the forward fired in the game-winning goal in overtime against Southern Virginia University, giving Salisbury a 2-1 victory and capping off a productive week for the Pasadena, Maryland native.

For the week, Luc tallied four shots, two of them on goal.

Salisbury will take on Frostburg State University on Saturday, October 4 in a CAC matchup. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
