YORK, Pa. – The Capital Athletic Conference announced its postseason All-CAC honors and the Salisbury University women's soccer team is represented by four student-athletes, the league announced Wednesday.
Beck netted five goals in her first season at Salisbury, which was tied for the team lead. The Walkersville, Md., native added four assists, giving her a team-high 14 points on the season. She also netted two game-winning goals, tying for the team lead.
Brown has been honored with an All-CAC selection in both of her seasons in maroon and gold, as she was a second teamer last season. The defender from Bethany, Conn., started all 20 contests, helping anchor the Sea Gull defense. Salisbury finished third in the CAC and 52nd in the nation with a 0.71 goals-against average this season. Brown was often in the middle of the action on the offensive end as well, netting two goals and adding an assist for the Sea Gulls.
Andonian played in each contest this season, starting 18 games and making an immediate impact on the pitch. Utilizing her speed on the wing, the Gaithersburg, Md., native led the Sea Gulls with six assists and added three goals.
Gavigan was a key cog in the midfield this season, appearing in each contest and starting 17 games for the Sea Gulls. Her contributions, as evidenced by her selection, don't just show up on the stat sheet but the Finksburg, Md., native is a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the field.
