YORK, Pa. -- Salisbury University forward Logan O'Meara was named the Capital Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
The sophomore from Cranbury, N.J., scored the only goal in the Sea Gulls' 1-0 victory Saturday against University of Mary Washington. The goal came in the 66th minute of the match and was her second of the season.
Salisbury junior goalkeeper Michelle Conrad received a special mention from the CAC as she recorded three saves against the Eagles, leading the team to their first conference win of the season.
The Sea Gulls will return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 8, as they host Penn State University-Harrisburg. The game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
