INDIANAPOLIS – On the heels of earning the Capital Athletic Conference's automatic bid, the Salisbury University women's soccer team is back in the NCAA tournament for the fourth time in school history and will play Wheaton (Mass.) College Saturday, Nov. 12 at 1:30 p.m., in Geneva, N.Y.
SU (13-5-2), which topped St. Mary's (Md.) College in overtime of the CAC title game, 1-0, returns to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2007. Wheaton (15-3-3) is making its 12th tournament appearance.
The winner of Saturday's game will advance to the second round on Sunday to face the winner of Saturday's other first round game, between host William Smith College and Lancaster Bible College.
Blossom Soccer Stadium in San Antonio, Texas will host the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Soccer Championships, Dec. 2-3.
