Grove named to NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region Team

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Senior defender Hillary Grove (Hagerstown, Md.) may have played her last game in maroon and gold several weeks ago, but her outstanding career as a Sea Gull continues to be recognized as she was named to the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) Division III All-South Atlantic Third Team on Tuesday.

This isn't Grove's first postseason award; last week, she was named to the ECAC (Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference) Division III South All-Star Team. Additionally, the Hagerstown, Md., native earned a spot on the Capital Athletic Conference first team for her accomplishments this past season.

Grove has been a cornerstone for the Sea Gulls in each of the past four years as she led the team to the CAC regular season championship three times. The four-year starter has helped the Sea Gulls post a combined 0.72 goals allowed average. This past season, Salisbury allowed just 0.52 goals per game due in large part to Grove's play and leadership on the field.
