Three Sea Gulls selected to participate in IWLCA Senior All-Star Game

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced the rosters for its 2018 Senior-All Star Games on Friday, and Salisbury University had three players selected to participate in the event. Attack Krissy Murphy, midfielder Allie Hynson, and goalkeeper Gianna Falcone will represent Salisbury as part of the Division III South Team.

Murphy, who was named a first-team All-Capital Athletic Conference selection, second-team All-Eastern College Athletic Conference selection, and first-team IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region selection, leads the Sea Gulls in points on the season. Her 72 points have come on a team-high 43 assists to go along with 29 goals.

Hynson, also a first-team All-CAC and first-team IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region honoree, has made her mark on both ends of the field for the second-ranked Sea Gulls. Hynson leads the team with 21 caused turnovers and 84 draw controls while ranking second with 35 groundballs. The Catonsville, Maryland native has added 21 goals on the season.

Falcone, who has earned first-team All-CAC, first-team All-ECAC, and first-team IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region honors, has been the backstop to one of the top defenses in the nation. Falcone has posted a 19-1 record in goal while recording a 7.24 goals-against average and 53.5 save percentage. She has made 138 saves on the season while leading the team with 47 groundballs. The Florham Park, New Jersey native has also caused eight turnovers in the 2018 campaign.

The three All-Star games will be held on Saturday, June 2 at Tierney Field at the US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland. The Division III game will round out the action on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Admission for all three games is free and the contests will be streamed live on IWLCA-tv.com.
