GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced the rosters for the 2016 North/South Senior All-Star Games and Salisbury University's Megan Wallenhorst has been picked for the Division III game.
Wallenhorst led the Sea Gulls in the points and assists this season, with 66 points on 28 goals and 38 assists. Her 28 markers ranked second on the team. The 38 helpers ranked second in the Capital Athletic Conference and 34th in the nation.
The Ellicott City, Maryland native closed her three-year career in maroon and gold with 83 goals and 70 assists for 153 points in 59 career games. She shot just under 50 percent for her career, with a 49.4 shooting percentage.
This season, Wallenhorst and the Sea Gulls posted an 18-3 record and claimed the 16th CAC championship in program history. Salisbury advanced to the NCAA tournament for the 17th time, advancing to the NCAA regional final.
The senior all-star games will be contested at Cabrini College on Saturday, June 4. The Division I game begins at 11:30 a.m., the Division II game starts at 12:45 p.m., and Wallenhorst's Division III game will commence at 2 p.m.
