SALISBURY, Md. – Lacrosse Magazine and the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced their latest rankings and polls on Monday with Salisbury sitting at No. 9 in the IWLCA poll, and No. 10 in the Lacrosse Magazine rankings.
The Sea Gulls (11-2, 7-0 CAC) defeated Christopher Newport University, 15-2, on Tuesday and St. Mary's College of Maryland, 13-3, on Friday, while falling to then-No.14 The College of New Jersey on Sunday. Junior Megan Wallenhorst led the way against St. Mary's, registering a career-high nine points; she had four goals along with five assists in the game. Against TCNJ, senior Kara O'Rourke had a game-high two assists.
Joining Salisbury from the CAC this week is York College of Pennsylvania, which remained at No. 17 in Lacrosse Magazine and remained at the No. 15 spot in the IWLCA poll.
The women will travel to Arlington, Virginia for their final CAC regular-season game to take on Marymount (Va.) University on Wednesday, April 15, at 4 p.m.
