SALISBURY, Md. – Due to poor weather conditions on the Eastern Shore, the No. 1 Salisbury University women's lacrosse team has postponed its season opener on Saturday, February 21 against No. 18 Stevenson. The game will now be played on Tuesday, February 24 at 4 p.m., in Sea Gull Stadium.
The Sea Gulls will look to keep their unblemished streak alive against the Mustangs on Tuesday, currently holding a 21-0 record in the overall series. Last season, Salisbury traveled to Owings Mills, Maryland to pull off an 8-6 victory.
Following the Stevenson matchup, the women head on the road for a three games, starting in the nation's capital against Catholic University of America on Saturday, February 28 with first draw set for 1 p.m.
