Cudmore named CAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week
YORK, Pa. - The Capital Athletic Conference announced its weekly conference athlete of the week awards and Salisbury University junior attacker Kim Cudmore was named the women's lacrosse honoree for the week of March 23. This award marks the first for Cudmore in her three years at Salisbury.
Cudmore led No. 2 Salisbury to a 2-0 record last week, including a 12-9 victory over defending NCAA Division III national champion Hamilton College. For the week, the junior poured in seven goals, seven assists and scooped up seven ground balls. She paced Salisbury with one goal and two assists in its 12-9 win over Hamilton last Wednesday. The Bel Air, Md., product then posted a career-high 11 points on six goals and five assists in SU's 23-13 victory over Roanoke on the road Saturday. In the victory over the Maroons, her goal, assist and point totals were the highest for any Sea Gull this season. She leads SU on the season in points (55), goals (18) and assists (24).
Cudmore is the second Sea Gull to named CAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week this season as sophomore attacker Logan Bilderback was honored as a co-recipient on March 9.
Salisbury returns home to host Colby College on Tuesday, March 24, at 4 p.m.
