Jul 20, 2007 Shores and Ackermann honored for academic successSALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury University senior

Sue Ackermann were named to the 2007
Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA)
Academic Honor Roll. The IWLCA recognized 410 student-athletes, 187
from Division III schools, for their achievement in the classroom.
Shores and Ackermann were vital parts to the success of the
record breaking Sea Gulls' offense. The two Exercise Science majors
were the top two scorers for No. 2 Salisbury (21-2). Shores netted
a team-high 59 goals while Ackermann had a team-high 119 points (51
goals and 68 assists).
Ackermann garnered first-team All-American, All-Chesapeake
Region and All-Capital Athletic Conference honors as well as being
named CAC Player of the Year. Shores was a second-team All-CAC
selection as well as a first-team All-Chesapeake Region and
third-team All-American honoree.
