Gillespie is entering her fourth season on the women’s basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach. She mainly works with the guards for the team. Gillespie spent a season playing at Division I University of Pittsburgh before moving onto Division II Missouri Valley College, where she earned a degree in Human Services and Recreational Management. As a high school All-American and four-year athlete, she holds the Maryland High School scoring record with 3,561 points.
