CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference announced its women's basketball all-region teams on Thursday and Salisbury University senior Lauren Rothfeld was named to the South Region honorable mention list.
Coming off being named to the Capital Athletic Conference First-Team and Team USA for the World Maccabiah Games, the honors continue to come in for the CAC's leading scorer (16.3 points per game) and steals per game (3.8) leader. Rothfeld is one of just two CAC players to make the all-region squad as Leah Hurst from Marymount (Va.) University was also on the honorable mention list. Also representing the CAC on the all-region list was Victoria Diggs of Frostburg State University who was named the rookie of the year for the region.
Rothfeld concluded her time in the maroon and gold with a stellar senior season where she had career highs in points per game, steals per game, rebounds per game (7.8), assists per game (2.5), and field goal percentage (42.4).
