Hall earns second Player of the Week honor, named ECAC Player of the Week
CENTERVILLE, Mass. - It is shaping up to be a
spectacular year for the Salisbury University women's basketball
team. The Sea Gulls started off their season 3-0, and currently
boast a record of 5-2. In addition to the team's success, Salisbury
continues to receive individual accolades as senior forward
Kylie Hall (Baltimore, Md.) snagged her
second Player of the Week honor by being named the ECAC (Eastern
Collegiate Athletic Conference) Division III South Region Player of
the Week.
Hall, who was also named Capital Athletic Conference Co-Player
of the Week on Dec. 14, has led her Sea Gulls by posting a
staggering six double-doubles in just seven games. In the only game
that she didn't notch a double-double, Hall still scored nine
points and pulled down 10 rebounds. She currently leads the team in
total points, netting 113 on the season and averaging 16.1 points
per game.
The Sea Gulls will look to improve their record as they travel
to Washington (Md.) College on Dec. 19 to play their last game of
2009. Salisbury's next home contest will be on Jan. 9, against CAC
opponent Marymount (Va.) University. Both games are set to tip-off
at 2 p.m.
