CENTERVILLE, Mass. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its players of the week awards and Salisbury University junior forward Kylie Hall was named the Division III South Region Player of the Week for the week of February 10. This is the first ECAC award for either the men's or women's basketball program this season.
This is the second award for Hall this week as she was named a co-player of the week for the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) on Monday.
Last week the junior forward collected a pair of double-doubles for the Sea Gulls and helped lead them to two pivotal victories in CAC play. Hall scored 16 points and grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds in a 76-59 win over St. Mary's (Md.) College. Last Saturday, Hall scored a career-high 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in a thrilling 61-59 victory over Wesley College.
The Baltimore native leads the team in rebounds (9.1 per game) and is second on the team in scoring (10.8 points per game). The junior captain has played and started in all 22 contests and has logged over 700 minutes of action.
Salisbury has won six out of its last eight games and will next face Stevenson University on road this Saturday, February 14, at 2 p.m.
