Farley qualifies for NCAA Indoor Championships, will run 400-meter dash Friday

INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA announced the qualifiers for the Division III Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships on Monday and Salisbury University junior Jamie Farley was among the student-athletes invited to travel to Birmingham, Alabama this weekend.

Farley qualified in the 400-meter dash where she has qualified 17th with a seed time of 56.88 seconds. Farley's top time this season, which is also a school and personal record, came at the Eastern College Athletic Conference championships on March 3, when she ran a time of 57.11 seconds to claim the victory in the event.

Farley will run the preliminary round of the 400 on the afternoon of Friday, March 9 at 4:25 p.m. (Eastern time), looking to advance to the finals on Saturday, also scheduled to begin at 4:25 p.m. (Eastern time).
