Salisbury men come in at No. 18/26 in national rankings

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's track & field team came in at No. 18 in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Team Computer Rankings, while also ranking No. 26 in the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Track & Field Team Dual Meet Rankings, the organization announced this week.

The Sea Gulls earned 55.90 points in the team computer rankings, while taking 177.98 points in the dual meet rankings. The team is coming off of an impressive meet at the Penn Relays. Senior Luke Campbell, junior Jerel Madison, and sophomores Zach Schmelz and Eric Halton led the way in the 4x400-meter relay; they won their heat and took 26th overall in a time of 3:15.78, taking over the No. 8 spot in the country.

Salisbury returns home for its next meet, as the Gulls will host the SU Rumble at the SU Track on Saturday, May 7; the meet is set for 11 a.m.
