NEW ORLEANS – The Salisbury University men's track & field team came in at No. 15 this week in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Team Computer Rankings and No. 24 in the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Track & Field Team Dual Meet Rankings, the organization announced.
The Sea Gulls earned 63.17 points in the team computer rankings, while garnering 177.96 points in the team dual meet rankings.
Led by eight individual Capital Athletic Conference championships, the Gulls are coming off of a second-place finish in the 2016 conference championship meet at Frostburg State University on Saturday. Senior Luke Campbell led the way for the team, taking first in the 110- and 400-meter hurdles.
The Sea Gulls are next in action at the Penn Relays at the University of Pennsylvania, with the first day of the three-day meet on Thursday, April 28.
