NEW ORLEANS – The Salisbury University men's track & field team held strong in this week's United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association Men's Indoor Track & Field National Team Computer Rankings at No. 16, the organization announced on Tuesday.
After another successful meet at the Vince Brown Invitational at Christopher Newport University, the Sea Gulls garnered 39.59 points in the rankings to keep their spot for the second-straight week.
There was some movement in the top five this week. The top-three spots remained the same with No. 1 University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse (167.34 points), No. 2 University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (113.70 points), and No. 3 University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (108.01 points). No. 4 University of Mount Union (101.01 points) moved up three spots, while No. 5 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (94.11 points) moved up one.
The Sea Gulls travel to Susquehanna University on Friday, February 12 for the Susquehanna Invitational; the meet is set for 10 a.m.
