Salisbury moves up three spots in national rankings, sits at No. 12
NEW ORLEANS - Heading into the national championships this weekend, the Salisbury University men’s indoor track & field team found itself ranked at No. 12 in the country in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll released this week.
The Sea Gulls moved up three spots in the ranking this week, after remaining at No. 15 for three consecutive weeks. Salisbury received 47.92 points, just ahead of No. 13 Springfield College’s 47.03 points. Last week, the Sea Gulls fell behind No.14 Springfield by only .97 points.
The Division III Indoor Track National Championships will take place on Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13 at DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind.
