PHILADELPHIA - It is undoubtedly one of the most famous track and field meets in the world. Each year, thousands of athletes and fans descend upon the city of Philadelphia to be a part of the weekend-long festivities. Several members of the Salisbury University track & field team made the trek and certainly left their mark on the Penn Relays, with one Sea Gull sprinting to the front of the pack to advance to the 100-meter dash championships tomorrow.

Senior sprinter Delannie Spriggs (Owings, Md.) continued his fantastic season as he placed fifth in the College Men's 100-Meter Dash preliminary round, posting a time of 10.52 seconds.
