Brittingham was named the league's Pitcher of the Week, after picking up three wins with two complete games and a shutout in the past week, all in CAC contests. Her opponents hit just .137 last week as she posted a 0.35 ERA in 20 innings of work, striking out 17 and walking just seven.
Simpson was named the CAC's Co-Player of the Week after proving to be a potent offensive threat through six CAC wins for the Sea Gulls, last week, slugging 1.048 with three home runs. She got the first game started Sunday against Penn State University-Harrisburg by drilling a home run to get the scoring going. She also ripped a pair of doubles and a triple, while driving in 10 runs, scoring five times and hitting .429 for the week.
The victories push Salisbury's winning streak to 15 games as the Sea Gulls head back into action on Wednesday, hosting Stevenson University in a doubleheader which begins at 3 p.m.
