Salisbury climbs two spots in NFCA poll, back into top five

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association revealed its latest Top 25 Coaches Poll and the Salisbury University softball team climbed two spots to No. 4.

The Sea Gulls won their two  games this past week, sweeping Stevenson University in a doubleheader on Sunday, and garnered 171 points in this week's poll, just seven points behind No. 3 Linfield College.

Tufts University climbed back to the top of the poll, with all eight first-place votes and 200 points, followed by the University of Texas at Tyler, with 186 points. Montclair State University, with 166 points, rounds out the top five.

Salisbury is awaiting the NCAA tournament selection announcement, this Monday, May 6, for the team's next possible opponent.
