2009 Sea Gull Invitational

Salisbury University would like to welcome all participants to the 2009 Sea Gull Invitational that will take place at Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex in Salisbury, Md. The tournament runs from March 13 through the 14 with 27 games set to be played. The field contains 16 teams including four teams ranked in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Top 25 poll.

HENRY S. PARKER COMPLEX
The Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex located on Naylor Mill Drive in Salisbury, is the county's premiere outdoor sport facility. Encompassed by shade trees and marked by expertly maintained fields, the complex has been recognized as the 1987 Most Beautiful and Functional Park and the 2004 National Softball Association's Outstanding Park.

Recently renovated, the complex boasts five softball/baseball fields (four lighted), two lighted Bermuda Turf utility fields, two full service concession stands, plenty of spectator seating and free parking for 720 vehicles.

DIRECTIONS
Rt. 50 East through Annapolis and over Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Take 50 East approx. 1 hour 15 minutes into Salisbury. Stay right on Business Route 50 as you approach Salisbury. Look for left turn onto Naylor Mill Road (approximately ¼ mile after the Business 50 / Bypass 50 split), take Naylor Mill Rd. approx. 2 miles, see Complex entrance on Left.

From North:
95 to Rt. 13 South towards Dover, Del. Pickup Rt. 1 Bypass South before Dover, exit back onto Rt. 13 South (Salisbury, MD) and continue for about 1 hour into Salisbury. Take right onto Naylor Mill Road (after Walmart @ Burger King), go approx. 2 miles to Complex entrance on Right.

From Ocean City
Take Rt. 90 West to Rt. 50 West. Follow Rt. 50 West toward Salisbury and take the Rt 13 Bypass North ( toward Dover). Take exit for Rt. 13 North. Turn right on Rt 13 (merge) and go two traffic lights to Naylor Mill Rd. Turn left on Naylor Mill Rd and go approxiamately 2.5 miles to the Complex on your right.

From South:
Rt. 13 North over Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (Norfolk/Va. Beach), continue on 13 North approx. 2 hours into Salisbury, MD. Take Rt 13 North Bypass around Salisbury. Take exit for Rt. 13 North. Turn right on Rt 13 (merge) and go two traffic lights to Naylor Mill Rd. Turn left on Naylor Mill Rd and go approxiamately 2.5 miles to the Complex on your right.
